Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 September 2026

1. Who is responsible

TAPZIQ โ€” independent beta project, operating from Sweden, is responsible for the processing described in this policy. Privacy questions may be sent to contact.digitalempowerment@gmail.com.

2. Information TAPZIQ processes

Question responses: the selected option, question identifier, question block and submission time needed to calculate the current pulse and aggregated results.

Usage events: events such as landing-page views, game starts, questions viewed or answered, completed question sets, result views and challenge activity. Behavioral analytics may include question position, category and response time, but does not store the answer option selected.

Challenge information: a temporary challenge identifier, randomly generated or user-selected nickname, responses required for comparison and resulting match statistics.

Acquisition information: referral source and campaign parameters, such as UTM source, medium, campaign and content, for the current session.

Technical and security information: hosting and security providers may process request information, including IP addresses and technical logs, to deliver and protect the service. TAPZIQ does not store raw IP addresses in its behavioral analytics database.

3. No account required

TAPZIQ does not require an account, name, email address, age or gender to play. Please do not enter personal information in a challenge nickname.

4. Why information is processed

Information is processed to provide the daily questions and results, calculate aggregated statistics, operate friend challenges, understand whether the service works, improve usability, prevent abuse and maintain security.

5. Legal basis

TAPZIQ processes information where necessary to provide the feature you request and for legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the service. Where applicable law requires consent for optional storage, analytics or advertising technologies, those technologies are activated only according to your consent choice.

6. Cookies and device storage

TAPZIQ may use short-lived storage required to maintain the current session, prevent duplicate answers and preserve the active gameplay state. TAPZIQ does not use persistent behavioral tracking or device fingerprinting by default.

If optional analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, the available choices and relevant third parties will be explained through the cookie settings before non-essential storage is activated where consent is required.

7. Retention

Challenge nicknames, individual challenge comparisons and challenge responses are removed when the daily question block resets, subject to a technical cleanup period of no more than 24 hours.

Raw behavioral analytics events are retained for up to 30 days. Aggregated statistics that no longer identify or single out a visitor may be retained to measure historical performance and world-pulse trends.

Operational and security logs are retained according to the applicable hosting provider's security and retention settings.

8. Service providers

TAPZIQ uses service providers for hosting, database infrastructure, security and technical operations. They process information only for the services they provide and under applicable contractual safeguards. TAPZIQ does not sell individual question responses or provide them to advertisers.

9. International processing

Where a service provider processes information outside your country, TAPZIQ uses safeguards required by applicable data-protection law. Provider and transfer information will be updated when the production service configuration changes.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Because TAPZIQ does not require an account and limits persistent identifiers, it may be impossible to locate information relating to a specific visitor. TAPZIQ will not collect additional identifying information solely to connect a person with anonymous or aggregated data.

11. Advertising and affiliate links

TAPZIQ is free to use. TAPZIQ may display clearly labelled advertisements or affiliate links. If a visitor follows an affiliate link and completes a purchase from a third-party website, TAPZIQ may receive a commission from that third party.

Question responses are not used by TAPZIQ to create advertising profiles. Before any third-party advertising technology is activated, this policy and applicable cookie settings will be updated as required.

12. Security

TAPZIQ applies technical and organisational measures designed to protect information, including access controls, database security policies, limited retention and aggregation. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when TAPZIQ changes its features, providers or legal obligations. The date at the top of the page shows the latest revision.
